OMG! Reading the table of contents alone made my mouth water. I was even more excited to see that each recipe is for "real" people. The ingredients are easy to come by and they are simple, easy recipes that anyone can do. I don't particularly care to cook, but these will be a cinch to make!

What a great book for the new year. I have been packing on some extra pounds this year and this is going to be a very delicious way to help take them off!

My only complaint is that I couldn't get enough- I wanted MORE recipes!

Great introduction to the shred diet and rich list of recipes. I loved how Stephanie categorized all the recipes into the 4 phases (F.A.S.T.), creating a 4 week diet program. What a great buy. Time to get on it!

I wasn't too familiar with the Shred Diet concepts of Dr. Ian Smith before I got this book or any Shred recipes (although some I was making were similar).

But I must say I really like these ones...the spiced green tea smoothie in particular is amazing....the curried eggs and the various fish dishes are also excellent because of how they use such healthy spices and other ingredients. Great collection of recipes that I can whip up in a hurry...very useful!

Stephanie has excelled herself with this collection of lovely low-calorie recipes. Using a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, lean meat and fish cooked simply, this is a diet that doesn't feel like a diet - it's just a sensible way of eating and one that everyone can enjoy. The book also lays out the recipes in a FAST format that will help you to get through the traditionally tough phases of dieting and aim for that dreamed for slimmer waist!

Reasonably nice recipes however; a couple + preparation instructions are incomplete leaving the preparer in limbo. All the ingredients listed in the recipe aren't mentioned in the actual coming together of the dish. 3 stars

Great info!!!! Take it to store with you!!! And friends and parties and restaurants or and never for get the restroom at your home!!! Because I can get lots of great ideas in a short amount of time but only if it's with me!!!!!

I'm not a big proponent of any new fad diets, but this one interested me, mainly because I'm a fan of Stephanie Samson's other books. Just like with her other books, the recipes are good. Lower in fat than I prefer, but still get the juices flowing with tasty ideas. Also, you have to keep in mind that the recipes are made to fit in with the recommendations of the Super Shred Diet. There was one recipe that had two ingredients (agave and soy) that I don't recommend for people, but as the recipe is not the mainstay of the diet, it's not going to kill you if you consume it that way. You could probably even safely replace the agave with stevia, if you do decide to consume it frequently. All in all, a very good book.
