This is a great book for all levels of quilters, whether you are just starting out or are an accomplished quilter. If you are a beginner with absolutely no experience with quilting, you might want to get a general book on how to quilt first, so you understand how to read a quilt pattern and so that you are familiar with quilting lingo. But, everything is spelled out perfectly clearly in this wonderful book, and there are different color and size options for each quilt. The quilts in this book are more contemporary, but the color options show fabrics that make the patterns look a bit more traditional as well. Be aware, this is NOT a huge book! It is paperback and does not go into a huge amount of detail about the basics of quilting, but the patterns are easy to read and all pages are very nicely done in glossy full color. A great book for those looking to try something easy and play with fabric and color!

This is a perfect book for all levels of quilters because the simple quilts look terrific. I've used the book to play with color combos and the results are wonderful.

For years I watched Alex Anderson on Simply Quilts and it is awesome to have this booklets for super simple quilts by the Master Quilter Alex Anderson. She makes the instructions easy to follow and the results always superb. Highest recommendations

Alex writes such great quilting books...it is exactly as I wanted...and it added to the other two of the series.
