Doesn't work,

This review is from: Super-Sized TV Remote (Electronics)
I purchased this off Amazon. Including tax and shipping the total was close to $40. When I received it and found it did NOT work, I tried getting an RMA to return it. I was told that I would have to pay for shipping. So for something that does NOT do what it advertises I have to fork over at least $10 in shipping. I will never do business with this company again. And if you want a good remote do not buy this one from Brookstone.

I actually purchased a 'knock-off' of this remote at our local discount retailer (Marc's,cleveland, Oh) for 5.99.
It's AWESOME! The kids can't stick it in their pocket, it won't fit down in the sofa or under it either. I had to have my teen son program it, but it works great and the buttons glow in the dark. No manufacturer's name on it and it's labeled JUMBO Universal remote.

Don't waste your money on this,

Doesn't work with Scientific America cable box. This is the box that Time Warner uses. They're all over the place, one of the most popular cable boxes. Remote's manual had 4 codes for it and 2 worked somewhat. It only changes channels and turns unit on and off. Doesn't let you control volume or anything else. What a piece of garbage. I also have a VIZIO LCD TV. Vizio has been around for years but this thing doesn't even have them listed in the codes list. This remote must be a hundred years old. Even auto search won't get it to work. Go burn your money, you'll enjoy it more than this garbage.
