The 2700 is the Best of the Super Soaker Breed.

Just how did I come to this conclusion? Tests! I went out, bought each one of the Super Soaker line, and used repeated tests of time to fire, distance, time to pump, and "wetness" of target.

Then, we did a field test involving 30 people, and boy that was fun. While the Monster and Monster XL are the kings of wetness, thier time to fire, and time to pump are lower and higher respectivly. Not good in a battle with limited watersupply, or dependent on the cheap orange nosel refillers that come with the Monster guns.

As one reviewer pointed out, you do have to be both strong, and yet not too strong with the pump, as it harder to work and more fragile than I would like.

This water gun is awesome. Although it weighs a lot when completly filled it's very powerful.The nozzles are 2x 5x 10x and the nozzles are sort of annoying to change. The pump is not a slide pump so it a little harder to pump than slide ones. The pump is also easier to break because the plastic part sticks out.I think they should of made the grip part of the pump a little smaller for smaller hands. I noticed this because my hands are small even though I am very big for my age. I think this water gun is awesome just heavy when completly filled up.

This is the best Super Soaker ever! It holds a lot of water. The only thing bad about it is that you have to pump it a lot. Everything else about it is good. It's an excellent gun for the summer!

The cps 2700 was a big disappointment, especially after its predecessor, the cps 2000 and 2500. The 2700's water supply is very good, but it's all down hill from there. Besides the funky coloring, the 2700 has a weak, easily broken stick pump rather than the attached pump of the 3200, Monsters, 2500, etc, and the pump is at a weird angle too. The nozzles, 2x, 5x and 10x are a step down from the older 2500's 5x, 10x and 20x, and the range is pitiful. Even the smaller 1700 has a good many feet over the 2700. Also, the nozzles are encased in some decorational purple flower thing that makes changing the nozzles difficult. If you're thinking about buying a 2700, I'd recommend going for the smaller 1700, or spending the extra few bucks for the 3200 or Monster.

This is a great gun it is huge and holds as much as the new aquapach devistator and is no longer for sale and can holkd as much as 100oz of water or 1 gallon of water it is a must if you want to buy it from somewhere than buy it unless it rattles than don't buy it for more than 15.00 dollars. Agreat toy really durable.

The Super Soaker CPS 2700 is discontinued now, which is a shame, as it is a great gun, people may say its a disappointment to the CPS 2500, but they even out just the same, since the CPS 2700 has a bigger firing chamber than the 2500, and has better shot time, and just a bit less range, but don't be put off, this is one of my favourite guns in my arsenal. Way better than the new Super Soakers done by Hasbro today. If only Larami hadn't been bought out by them.

Anyway, on to more about the gun. It has 3 nozzle settings, 2x, 5x and 10x. The 2x nozzle is great for conservation and soaking at the same time. The 5x is very nice too, on mine it shoots for quite a while with a good, powerful and solid beam. The 10x though, its great, its a one hit kill nozzle, if your opponent gets hit with this, then its a massive blow to them with the power and size!

The range of this gun is good, about 12-14m on mine, really good.

As for durability, this gun is built like a rock, apart from the pump which isn't tracked, but if you take care of this then it won't break, you could just reinforce it anyway.

This gun looks like a bumble bee, while many don't like the colour scheme, I'm not really bothered, it looks ok to me.

Overall, you should get this gun, if you are able to and you know people who just have the newer crappy soakers and they say they can beat you, then get this and make em'look stupid! You make think that its useful for newer soaker fights, its also great for fights with guns of its time, you can keep pace with a lot of the older blasters to have a fun and intense fight.

this is the gun that can blow people over from a standing position, it has tons of water and more than enough water pressure and that is what people like right. well this is a gun that is low priced and durable than ever bottom line this is a gun that every kid should have and it doesn't have a long pump so it won't break this gun is also huge about the same size as a monster x but this one is way more powerful.well if your a water gun warrior or just a person who likes water guns then you should get this water gun

This is the best watergun ever. It delivers a powerful stream of water that will knock your oponents to the ground. Besides being powerful it's also super cheap! I've got some good memories of this gun. One time my friend and I were having a water fight. He had a two water guns and had also captured the hose. he had full power I had maybe half a tank. I pump it up to the extreme and fire it at him. he gets knocked back and loses due to wimpieness.There are some bad points like the fact that it's super heavy when totally full. Also the handle tends to break off after about one year. Small prices to pay for supremecy in waterguns.

This is an awsome Gun and as another reviewer pointed out don't buy the gun if young over all it's a great gun just pump it 20 times and your ready for soaking action 165 Oz. Thats some soaking power without going for a refill just fill it up and go get em and the nozzles 2x 5x 10x the stream of the xp 70 so get this gun and Get WET!

this gun rocks. i bought this gun for my water-wars and it has turned out great. i won 27 of the 30 water wars last summer and it is almost the same this summer(12/14 wars, and there are a lot more to come.) the water cpacity is is great for a warrior(165 oz.). it is too heavy for kids under 12. i really love this gun
