Wow. This srinkler is just the best one out there. After a long time of searching for the "Crazy Daisy" sprinkler and also the "Rugrats Sprayin' Splash Sprinkler", I found this wonderful thing. It looked like alot of fun, so I decided to buy it. Here is the summary of what happens:
1. The package arrives in the mail.
2. After unpacking the Mt. Tikisoki, you take it outside.
3. You attach the house and turn on the water.
4. Mt. Tikisoki's ears start spraying out a constant stream of water on both sides.
5. Suddenly... Mt. Tikisoki's eyes open... and he BLOWS!! When he blows, he blows. Mt. Tikisoki blows at least fifteen feet of water into the air, if not twenty.

The only problem with this thing is the amount of time it takes to shut off. When you turn the water off, the eruptions stop, but the water still comes out of his ears for a minute or two before stopping. Besides that, this is a great toy! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

I love this toy which doubles as an excellent sprinkler system as well. It is very solid and durable which is a major plus for parents and kids alike. Nothing complicated, no small parts, you just attach the valcano to your hose and have fun. A plus that I wasn't expecting is that the water comes out in a mist rather then large droplets. When it erupts the water doesn't hit you like a blast from the hose but rather an even larger concentration of mist. Very cool! Very refreshing!!

Bought Mt. Tikisoki for my 9 & 11 year old girls... they have had hours of fun with this toy! They have been playing with it every day! It also attracts the neighborhood friends (ages 12 & under) who line up with them for turns jumping over the volcano, trying not to get wet. I have as much fun watching them play (it's really funny!) and, same as a previous reviewer, the kids like to put lightweight balls on top and watch them fly into the air with the water (unfortunately, a worm also had the same fate!) Love it - great price - easy to install, just attach the end to hose and turn on water. I have also recommended this toy to friends/family.

I bought this toy for my four kids (2-5). We used it twice, it worked great!! Even the 2 year-olds loved it. Then it broke. The volcano quit working. I wrote to Hasbro for a replacement part, product, anything to get it working again. They wrote back -- "can't be fixed, no replacement." So they sent me a replacement toy, one supposedly of equal value. A furreal cat. Not a water toy. My boys were not impressed. If they ever could get it fixed so this toy actual works, it would be a great toy. Stay clear of it for this year. Maybe next year they will figure out how to make it last all summer. Let's hope so.

We have two boys 3 and 6 who love this toy. The water burst is predictable but with younger children I like that. This toy is not for older children. They would find it boring after awhile but is a thumbs up for younger children. Connects easily to garden hose and waters the lawn well. Water flows from ears in a fine mist and shoots water in the air every 4-5 seconds. Supervision is required because water pressure could hurt eyes if your child looks directly on top as water is released. Overall, a good buy if your children enjoy running through sprinklers.

We received this toy as a gift for my son's 5th birthday. All the kids loved it and played with it all day. Then, a few days later, it quit shooting the volcano. We figured my son had carried it around and dropped it once too often so we went and bought another one, this time telling him not to touch it. It also worked for a few days and then stopped shooting water out of the top. My son discovered if you whack the top of it after the volcano erupts, it will reset itself and erupt again. But, how fun is it to have to hit it to work every time? The kids love to play in it but it must have some sort of design flaw. I would recommend waiting until next year to see if they have fixed the problem before wasting your money on it.

I bought this toy for my friend's little girl's 3rd birthday. She also has a 5 year old sister and 10 year old brother. I wanted to find something that all 3 of them would enjoy. Well, this is certainly it!! It is easy to hook up, the 10 year old was able to get it running in just a matter of seconds. No matter how muddy the ground gets the sprinkler stays in place. They get a big kick out of running and jumping over it in between water blasts trying to avoid getting sprayed. Overall this is great toy for kids of any age.

I got this for my girls, ages 3 and 5, during a hot spell and couldn't have been more pleased! They played with it for hours, delighting each time the "volcano" shot a burst of water up higher than our house! They even experimented by placing various lightweight objects over the hole and watching them pushed upwards by the water. I've already recommended the toy to my immediate friends and plan to buy another soon as a birthday present for a 5 year old.

I bought this for my sons, ages 4 and 7. They had a good time jumping over the volcano and getting soaked. It sprays a thin stream to each side, then I'd say about every 5 or 6 seconds, it sends a powerful blast out the top, maybe 15 feet into the air. It's fun, but the erruption is cyclic and predictable. It's good clean fun, and also great for watering the grass. I only had it a day, but it seems sturdy enough.

My son received the Mt. Tikisoki for his 5th birthday. He absolutely loves it! He plays with it every day, and has a ton of fun. It is a great toy, because it has stood up to his mischief. He loves to carry it around aiming it at the dogs when the volcano goes off. He has even "washed" our windows. He rarely puts it down, opting to throw it down or drop it, and it still works. It is a great summer toy. In fact, I am buying one for my nephew who is about to turn 7, because I know he will love it too.
