I am using this book to help teach writing skills to third graders. The lessons are quick and easy to understand. I am most pleased with the results I am seeing and the growth in skills.

Barbara Mariconda presents an excellent step by step practical writing guide. Between this book and her other teaching book "The Most Wonderful Writing Lessons Ever" you have most of your lesson plan done for you - I have used them both over and over again to put together writing lessons. They are geared for the primary levels but are usable with a few changes for many grade levels.
