The 3D0 version is by far the best version of Wing Commander for any computer or console. Unlike the others the control of your space fighter/whatever seems much more natural. The graphics are waaaaaaaay better than the PC version which we used to joke about. When you are in pursuit or battle with the Kirathi it really plays much better and it seems smoother and less jerky when you move your ship around. The cut scenes are way better too. The graphics that the 3D0 can do are really good as well as the sound.
All you have to do is play this one and you'll shed a tear for the time wasted on the PC version. |
