I recommend this book for anyone completing their Administration degree. It is well written and gives great and useful real life situations that are applicable.

Read this book if you plan on being an administrator! Most valuable resource to me throughout my graduate school and years working as a teacher.

The text is useful and interesting. I am using it in a graduate class where the professor is well aquaited with it. We read selected chapters that are related to the supervisroy area we are studying. It imparts knowledge and opens discussions.

This textbook is very well written and insightful in the areas of supervision in leadership in schools. It is apparent that the Authors took great care in the design and compilation of the book. I am more than halfway through it and the ideas and scenarios are true to life and very inspiring.

Very easy to read. Very practical knowledge. The author's bias or opinion tends to wear through frequently, but easily digestible information for a textbook.

This text provides insightful and hands-on material for the prospective educational administrator. The book will challenge the reader to lead with vision, dismissing perceptions of old of the autocratic supervisor. Instead, the reader with an open mind will be inspired to lead with conviction, incorporating the ideal of collaborating with fellow professionals to improve student learning through improved instruction and assessment. With its end-of-the-chapter practicioner reflection and varied exercises, this text provides a personal and practical mean by which the reader will be able to relate, reflect and practice thier newfound ideas and perceptions for school leadership.

This book is an excellent tool for beginning and acting administrators. This book serves as a good tool on how to work in colloberation, direct and assess teachers with various experience.

I mistakenly ordered a paperback, international version of a text. Some of my colleagues got it on other websites for $43. I paid $105, thinking I was purchasing the hardback version. The packing slip was from Malaysia. I felt like a chump! I'm all about international commerce, but I feel stupid for paying so much money for a paperback book I needed for class...

This edition of SuperVision and Instructional Leadership is well done and very informational! I used this book for an Administration and Supervision course and found it to be very useful! It is easy to understand and provides lots of practical examples for the reader.
