I'm always a little sceptical when it comes to aftermarket electronics like this, but OEM batteries are outrageously priced. I've had this battery for a couple weeks now, and it does fine. It's charge gives at least 3 hours of work time, and a few more in standby. Hopefully it will last. The only flaw I've found so far is the fit is a little loose.

(Amazon won't allow the full title so I had to elide some of it) I purchased this from Superb Choice and fulfilled by Amazon, because it was the only battery I could find that I felt had a relative guarantee of fitting my 900HA, not having a bad form factor, not risking fires. It looks and feels almost identical to the original Asus battery; the fit when it slides in is just a fraction different-feeling (stiffer) It arrived partially charged, charged up quickly, and lasted 3.5 hours under "always on." Had intended to have wireless on, but the power settings disabled it while looking like it was on so I had to go fix that and do it again (you have to go into the Control Panel and network adapters, and find a little tab at the end with a checkbox that you uncheck so it doesn't dump the wireless when it goes to battery) When I did that, the battery I had charged and discharged and charged again, again lasted just about 3.5 hours; nothing seemed to overheat or show any negative symptoms and it is now sitting in my notebook. I recommend this battery (which is a little pricier) if you are less concerned with price than with getting a better chance of a battery that isn't as likely to risk your investment in your computer. [ Not really germane to user reviews, but I had a good experience with Superb Choice/Fulfilled by Amazon and wanted to mention it since that was a question I had had. Disclaimer: battery reviews have talked about some batteries having fewer cells than advertised. I don't know the calculations for actual number of cells, but this did seem to perform the same as other batteries that are 4400 mAh and 4 cell ]
