bike reviews give it replay value,

this is the first sportbike related dvd i've purchased, so i can't compare it to any other racing dvds, but overall i enjoyed this dvd. the dvd covers every race (2 per city), and you get to see the bikers ride in sunny, overcast, and rainy weather. it gets pretty intense near the end of the races as the final race of the year eventually determines the 2002 superbike champ. also, i liked the extras. they have a short bio of the top 3 finishers. but what i really liked was the section on bike reviews. i believe they review 6 popular 750cc sportbikes- noting their 2002 specs and giving each bike a test ride and analysis. as far as replay value i watch this section the most out of the whole dvd. i cant get enough of watching the rides and hearing the engines of the suzuki gsx750k2, aprille milleR, and ducati replica. there's also a kawa zx-7, honda sp2, and benelli tornado.as far as negative aspects of this dvd, i just wish we could hear more live action from the bikes (engines revving) instead of the announcers, and i also wish they'd show us more footage of the onboard camera. other than that, this was a pretty entertaining dvd. i recommend it to the sportbike enthusiast. |
