I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this! Spectacular graphics, sounds, and places. I'm amazed and always want to play it. The cars you can get are incredible! You can even build the car that fits your needs! Also race along 23 tracks and 7 different cities. You can even take some really helpful shortcuts on the way to win. Once you start you are in a somewhat smoothe and rough ride so buckle up and be prepared for anything!

I purchased this game a while ago and it is still unbelievably fun. In fact it got much better since I unlocked everything! The best part of this game is all the shortcuts. Me and my friend even play hide-and-seek using the shortcuts. The only things it needed were traffic and nitrous oxide. Here is a list of the cars in each class:
Grip Class C: E-Go Rocket Class B: GTO Class A: F100 Balance Class C: M220 Class B: Callaway C12 Class A: S7 Drift Class C: Pickster Class B: CTEK K/2 Class A: Zonda C12-S Try and get the Zonda; it can do 231 and has great handling. The Saleen S7's top speed is 239 but it has terrible handling. Good Luck!

Best driving game I own,

I own so many racing and or driving sims and really enjoy almost all of them, but Supercar has now replaced "Driver"as my favorite game of automotive simulation. This game is great-especially for the novice gamer like me. I had absolutely no difficulty installing it or playing it.That is quite a new development for me as I seem to have problems with every game I buy. I think even hardcore racing gamers will truly enjoy this one too. It is a lot like "Midtown Madness" but that great game takes place only in the city of Chicago. If you don't build or design your own vehicle there is still a great group of autos from which to choose-tracks too! I have nothing but praise for this one and I got it at a bargain price! Go for it-all you driving freaks out there!

This Games Awesome. I Can't Believe You Can Make Your Own Streetbeast. I'm Just Wonderin' If You Can Make The Exact Custom Car As The One In The Intro. My Favorite Cars The GTO It Looks Like A Spacecar. And Some Of The Music Is Cool. And You Guys Say Some Cars Go Faster? Well Speed Ain't Everything. It Also Depends How Your Skill Is On The Racetrack. Anyway I Think This Game Deserves Credit. Its Worthy Enough For Me To Enjoy!. I Love It Way More Than The RR64 Game. I Just Love The Game.

When I first heard of this Supercar Street Challenge, I thought the concept was wonderful: go racing in concept/rare cars in major cities around the world. However, the game is VERY lacking in terms of graphics, and the cities do have a "feel" to them. Specifically, having lived in Paris, I was extremely disappointed; the Paris circuit neither "feels" nor looks anything like Paris. I have never been to Los Angeles, but the LA river circuit has even LESS "feel" than its counterpart in Rumble Racing!!! This may well be a good game for young children, as they will probably not be as concerned with look and "feel." However, games such as F1 2001 and Gran Turismo 3 have really set a high bar for racing games, and Supercar Street Challenge can barely even get off the ground in comparison to these PS2 gems.

I totally don't understand all the positive reviews for this game, and I blame those individuals who hyped this thing up for my buying it.
1. The car customization is weak. You can only change the front, back, color and wheels of the car. By changing the front you pick, say, a Ferrari front and then move it toward another type front in 10% increments. When you hit 60% the lights and markings switch over and the body continues toward that other style. You can do this again with another front, or back, but the result is that you get a car that looks like a generic version of all the other stuff. The colors are pre-picked nad flat, non-metallic. There are five choices of rims. 2. Graphics. Though you see in the Amazon description that this game was released in 2002, the copyright screen says "1999,2001" This title predates the PS2. And it looks it. Top Gear Dare Devil looks better than this. Ridge Racer 4 on the PS1 look better than this. 3. Gameplay. This is an arcade title. You use shortcuts. OK? This is not a real racing game. All you need is a monkey throwing bananas and turtle shells, which would be an improvement, to let you know how this is not a real racing game. Actually, the computer players taking shortcuts you can't see will do that. Nothing like going from 1st to 6th because the five cars you were leading drove through a parking lot. The car physics is beyond bad. They go straight fine, but since there is no awareness of the wheels or center of gravity, rather than understeer or oversteer, they chose to limit the turn radius. I played this less than fifteen minutes. I made a yellow car that looked like a generic yellow exotic. I managed to stop bouncing off walls by my third lap, and thanks to the games rubberbanding, had all the cars pass me by taking a shortcut. I did not have fun. I did put it in the charity pile. Do yourself a favor and youtube this. Some people might like this. If you like any other game with a car in it, probably not.

This game is worse than any game i've ever played. The graphics are horrible and the controls are impsossible to use. if i could i'd only give this game 1/2 a star but i can't. I've tryed selling it to every game store and friend i know of. I've even put it on ebay but nobody will buy it. If you do get this game you might as well let your dog chew on it cause that's all it's good for
