5.0 out of 5 stars Radio X Recording Stars, Superchargers' Debut Record, December 22, 2006
This review is from: Supercharger (Audio CD)
Why are you reading this? Don't you alreday have this record... hehummm... CD?
You know Darrin (geetar) "discovered" the now famous DONNAS...
and Fat Turd (bass player), started RipOff Records.
Some chick, probably Your Mom, bangs on drums and screams on a few songs. This record hurts my ears and gives me a headache when I play it loud, but I can't seem to scrape it off of my turntable!
WARNING:
Although this record is a favorite of the crack smoking homeless type, you'll find high school age girls dig it too! They will think you are very sophisticated if you play them this cd and will probably want to have sex with you. So beware! Be prepared... use a condom! We don't need more idiots like this group of douchebags running around....

5.0 out of 5 stars I saw the ghost of Steve McQueen, March 2, 2001

Elementary, primitive, pioneer, low-budget one-chord-wonder! Teenage 50's R&R and garage like no others. "All about Judy" is a real anthem! From the ashes of Supercharger The Rip Offs were born, and they also inspired the mighty, unforgettable ........

5.0 out of 5 stars An essential album for fans of budget rock!, July 9, 2008
This review is from: Supercharger (Audio CD)
This is pure unadulterated raw garage at its best. Certainly one who has never been exposed to this genre will find this band absolutely grating and, as previously mentioned, primitive. But for the doting fan, this is a gem. My personal favorite is Sooprize Package for Mr. Mineo, which I first heard covered by the Mummies, my all time favorite garage/budget rock band. A great record to have while drinking a cold one on a hot summer day in the city...or those teen delinquents in the 'burbs.
