This book unlocked the secrets of the universe, October 24, 2003

This review is from: Superconducting Quantum Circuits (Stand Alone Dup) (Paperback)
There are many people who will purchase Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time merely for its presence on their coffee table, presumed to makes them appear intelligent. This rankles my ire in every way possible, and is intellectually irresponsible.
Dr. Majer's book provides a healthy and intelligent alternative. Visitors to one's house who see this book will be impressed with the cultured taste that this book's presence evinces; readers of this book will grow as thinkers, as physicists, and as human beings for the deep scientific and personal insights that this book contains. It is truly the great American novel, the harbinger of our World's entry into the Twenty-first century.
