About the Author
Like many others, Pete Johnson was caught up in the fever of Jeremy McGraths run at the perfect season. Since that time many things have changed for him as a result. His passion for Supercross has seeped into every area of his life. Through his association with Shepherd Films he has been able to get inside the motocross industry and take a good look around. With writing experience in the area of youth issues, he has now turned his talents towards exploring what makes a Supercross champion.
He considers himself lucky to live in the heart of the Supercross world, Southern California. Among those that put up with his obsession are his wife Jodell, and sons Mitchell and Max.
Pete Johnson currently writes a column for Motocross.com and MXTales.
