Good old early 90s techno (or whatever we were calling it then),

Ahh, BiGod 20. How many times did I visit the local music store hoping another release of theirs would show up?
A LOT. THAT'S HOW MANY. Anyway, BiGod 20 was a hard to find combination: Consistently good music A vocalist I could stand to listen to Lyrics I could actually enjoy Bear in mind this was the era of groups like Skinny Puppy and Frontline Assembly, which, while I also owned a lot of their CDs, failed pretty hard in at least one of the above categories. Most groups of this genre did. BiGod 20 had clear vocals and while not award winning, they fit well. Their lyrics often scratched an itch of mine as well. "Supercute" has a slightly different tone to it than their previous "Steel Works!" but they're similar enough that if you like one, you'll probably like the other. For fans of the genre, I'd classify BiGod 20 as being somewhere between early 90s era Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb -- less crazy than Nitzer Ebb and less experimental than Front 242 (even early Front 242, before they experimented themselves right out of the genre of "music"). Anyway, this is one of those CDs I had to repurchase on MP3 when I realized I couldn't find the CD anywhere and I really needed them back on my playlist, almost 20 years later. There's a lot of music from that era I just don't listen to anymore, but BiGod 20 still makes the cut. Also check out their cover of "Like a Prayer". Best. Madonna cover. EVER.

I don't know much about Bigod 20 and wonder why they aren't more well know. But there vocals sound as if they are german even though they sing in english. I do know I like there electronic-industrial sound. Also check out there carpe-diem single. I think it is there best song but for some reason it never made it on one of there full-length albums.
