4.0 out of 5 stars Good in most high heels, but not recommended for tight shoes or strappy, March 6, 2011

As someone who loves her high heels more than her feet do, I was excited about these inserts. Easy to insert, they help alleviate and to a certain extent the knee pain and general exhaustion that can come from a long day of running around in my heels, and are a life saver when going dancing or to a party. While they aren't perfect, they are definitely a step up (!) from Dr School's versions.

They come with velcro "dots" to help them stay in place, especially for strappy or backless shoes. In general, I have found these to be ineffective. Either the insert would move around too much, or be too visible to make them worth it.

They won't fit all shoes. Especially in those shoes that are already a snug fit, these can make the shoes too tight.

If, like me, you'd appreciate some more arch support in your favorite pair of heels, these are definitely worth a try!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Feet make my feet feel SUPER!, May 31, 2011
I've paid over $200 for a custom pair of orthodics. After a couple of years my hips started hurting. I visited a new, much younger (new school/not old school) podiatrist. He turned me onto Super Feet. These are the best. I have a pair for my casual/running shoes and a pair for my heels.

Until I tried this product I thought foot cramps after wearing heels were just a fact of life. After trying these insoles in several pairs of high heels... I now know better! They've completely eliminated the aches and pains I used to get in the ball of my foot after a day in heels.

I've only used these inserts in shoes with backs, so I haven't had to use the included velcro dots. The insoles seem to stay in place well when pushed all the way into the back of the shoe.

Great buy! I highly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow, January 22, 2012

It doesn't get 5 stars because I'm a harsh grader, and because it doesn't work miracles. But it has a lot of things going for it.

1) It works. It makes all kinds of uncomfortable shoes much more bearable, and I can actually wear a bunch of shoes that previously I couldn't last long in. Obviously this will not make your 4 inch heels feel like sneakers. But they're better than Dr. Scholl's For Her Insoles, High Heel, Women's Sizes 6-10.

2) It's hard and there's no sticky bit, so it's easy to transfer from shoe to shoe and also easy to clean (the sticky gel insoles gather all sorts of lint and cat hair). Now I wear it in all my heels.

I don't know how exactly it works because I have a fairly high arch and the pads don't exactly support the arches all the way, but wear them around for a while and you'll feel the difference. I actually tried wearing just one of them, and after standing around for about 20 minutes, the side that didn't have it was beginning to ache a bit. So yes, I can say empirically that it works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Low expectations, incredibly impressed., November 24, 2011
This review is from: Superfeet High-Heel Dress & Casual Women's 3/4 Insoles (Apparel)
A friend of mine suggested these so I bought them, with low expectations. When they arrived, I was initially disappointed because they're made of hard plastic. I thought they'd be squishier or something. I begrudgingly tried them on and was AMAZED, I didn't even realize how awesome they were until I got to the end of my work day and realized that my back and knees weren't aching even a little bit.

Let's be realistic though, ladies. If your heels are too tight/uncomfortable for reasons not related to posture, these aren't going to help. I mean, if they're pinching/eating your feet, you just straight up need more comfortable heels. However, if your knees/back feel a little sore at the end of the day, these are for you. Would highly recommend.
