5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to a Hockey skate!!
If you have a medium arch and you want more from your hockey skate, this is the product for you. I use this product in Bauer Vapor X40's and it completely changed the Skate. They feel like slippers, just like my old ratty skates.

I wouldn't recommend this to goalies with wide or flat-ish feet. All it does is add a bit of arch support with heel lift.

Now trying Spenco's gel inserts - which include a 1-year return (for any reason) policy.

This review is from: Superfeet Yellow Trim-to Fit Insoles (44000) for Hockey and Figure Skates (Misc.)
I bicycle. My road shoes started to hurt on long rides. I bought these insoles. My shoes no longer hurt.

There's nothing fancy about them, but somehow they work well. Maybe it is the arch support or something.

Only drawbacks: road cycling shoes are shaped a little weird, and these didn't fit in as well in the heel as I would have liked. No impact on performance though. Also, they are not cheap. But cheaper than new shoes or hurting with every stroke.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fixed my painful skate problem., February 8, 2011

Bought some new inline skates which were painful on my feet after about 30 minutes. Picked up a set of these inserts and was amazed at how much they improved the comfort of the skates. I will be buying these for all my future skate/boot/shoes!

These insoles are fantastic replacements for stock and poorly made cycling shoe insoles. They provide good comfort and support and don't compromise the stiff carbon soles of my new cycling shoes. Every bit as good as a custom orthodic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sole upgrades for cycling cleats, August 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I used these soles to replace the stock Sidi soles due to lack of arch support. The soles placed my feet with more emphasis on the ball of the foot rather than flat footing it across the platform. I had issues with the stock soles in many, less Bontrager with the eSoles, cleats which resulted in hot spots. These soles put a ton of arch support in without it feeling like a rock in the shoe. Great starting point for anyone having hotfoot issues before going to shims.

The only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because i think the price is too high...but...they do work well giving firm support where needed. these are working well in my cycling shoes. i used to insert my custom orthotics but these fill the need without the bulk and weight.
