She became interested in Superfoods years ago and these books are the culmination of the journey up until now. Rebecca Fallon lives in Connecticut with her husband, Thomas, and their two children, Sofia and Steve.

We all know that the green smoothies are good for our health and they are recommended by health experts instead of juices.

Rebecca's Fallon book contains 50 green smoothies which are easy to prepare, don't require a lot of ingredients and in plus the smoothies are healthy.

Pros:
- easy to follow recipes
- nutritious and tasty results
- most smoothies don't require to add sugar or other artificial sweeteners
- most smoothies can be made in under 15 minutes and a lot of them are ready in just 5 minutes

Cons:
- none yet

Overall a useful book with plenty of green smoothie recipes to choose from.

Rebecca Fallon includes some lessons on nutrition in the opening pages of this beautiful little recipe book, giving us the history of the development of the green smoothie craze, the manner in which to approach adopting them into your food plan and daily nutrition and some solid information about the foods she includes in her ‘suferfood’ green smoothie recipes.
Superfoods are foods that directly fight disease and encourage good health. They contain massive amounts of vitamins and minerals –essential nutrients – and phytochemicals such as antioxidants and other ‘medical’ type substances. Some of the superfoods she describes include spinach, nuts, green tea, blueberries and cranberries. Given this informational background she then launches into a series of green smoothie recipes, each carefully explained with preparation and ingestion and storage included.

Examples of her green superfood smoothies are Raw Green Smoothie, Banana blueberry and Spinach Green Smoothie, Kale Blueberry and Flax Seed Green Smoothie, Veggie Fruit Green Smoothie, Lemon and Lime Green Smoothie, Honey Spinach Green Smoothie, Cinnamon Blueberry Green Smoothie, Matcha-Berry Green Smoothie, Pear Spinach Green Smoothie, Green Date Smoothie, Spicy Mango Green Smoothie, Strawberry Pineapple and Dandelion Greens Smoothie, Pomegranate Green Smoothie, Cashew Nut Green Smoothie – you get the idea of the variety and new ideas contained in this fine new book.

This is a fresh, very complete new recipe collection for those who want to give the healthy benefits of drinking Green Smoothies a chance. Highly recommended. Grady Harp, November 13

Wow! Ididn't know there are that many smoothie recipes. There is one for a Blueberry Green Tea Smoothie, one for a Green Spinach Spirulina Smoothie, then a Mango Pineapple Avocado Green Smoothie... and the list goes on and on. There must be one for everybody! So, on that level, I think this book is great. The recipes are easy to understand, which is another plus. However, there is one area in which the book could improve. It jumps from the front cover page right to the table of contents. There is no introduction and nothing about the author, which is a pity. And then it just ends with the recipe for a Green Date Smoothie. Although, for some people this may not be such a big deal. After all, this is about 50 smoothie recipes and they are looking good. So, what am I whinging about! Nevertheless, I think the book is only 90% finished, therefore four stars, otherwise it would be five.

This books contains a pretty good amount of recipes. I would have liked to see some more nutritional information instead of just the recipes.
