I was very disapointed after receiving this book. I have an extensive Superman book collection and looked forward to this item. I purchased it online and did not realize how small the book actually is (approximately 3" x 4"). The size does not do justice to the cover art work.

This is a great addition to the collection of any Superman fan. This book provides clear images of the first 300 covers of Action comics, many of which are copies from the famous Mile High collection. You can tell which comic books are Mile Highs because they have the distinctive Mile High coding on the top of the comic books.
I don't know of any other book that provides a picture of every single cover, except Gerber's Photojournal Guide to Comics. While this book is not very large (about 4" by 4") has much larger images of the covers than Gerber's book. It is handy to be able to see those covers at a glance, without having to pull those comics out of my collection. It also includes a summary of the artist for each cover shown. I would like to thank Mark Waid for putting this book together, so that people can appreciate those truly beautiful covers.
