5.0 out of 5 stars A "Must Have" for any comic art fan!, December 29, 2000
This review is from: Superman in Action Comics: Volume 2, Featuring the Complete Covers of the Second 25 Years (Tiny Folios) (Paperback)
This book gives you each of the Superman covers. The second twenty five years are a little more polished and better than the first twenty five. The artistic simplicty and style of the times are apparent in this volume. A more innocent time; where comics did not attempt to recreate Frank Miller's "Dark Knight" with each passing month. The "Death of Superman" story did little more than make the character into a darker version. I'm glad the "All American" Superman is back though. His current stories reflect the classic character we all know and love.
