Christopher Drake is talented and this music serves the movie well. It's not as good as Batman: Gothnam Knight, Superman: Doomsday or Justice League: The New Frontier, but it's still very good and the price is right. The CD cover artwork, inside album art and CD design is excellent, too.
I wonder why the Wonder Woman and The Green Lantern movies didn't have a soundtrack; especially Wonder Woman as the main theme is excellent. Anway, I hope DC Comics continue to make soundtracks with their excellent direct-to-DVD animated movies.

Christopher Drake is a young composer with a number of scores under his belt, chiefly to animated films and video games. Though he hasn't reached the level of, say, a John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith, there can be said that he is on his way with this pretty decent score to "Superman/Batman: Public Score".
For an animated film that runs just under seventy minutes, Drake's almost-one-hour score demonstrates that there is very little "down" time, musically, in the film. Thus, the composer had to really "step up to the bat" and write music that would be featured almost through the entire film. He has done a commendable job, creating melodies that are bombastic, soothing, thrilling, and ominious, respectively. This demonstrates his gifts as a composer, but it also shows his limitations. The mark of a good score, however, is its ability to stand apart from the film it accompanies. Though some of the music is listenable, sans the moving images, much of it requires the on-screen action to be fully appreciated. Hence, the composer gets five stars for his efforts but only three for the "stand-aloneness" of his work, yielding in four stars.

Christopher Drake just keeps getting better with each new DC Animated Score. Superman Batman: Public Enemies just grabs you and keeps you until the last track. My favorite track is the theme for Public Enemies and it is repeated at times throughout the soundtrack. If you like movie soundtracks/scores, get this disk!
