Up to Volume 5 and reprinting Action Comics #32-36, Superman #8-9 and World's Best Comics #1.
The art, while still crude by today's standards, has improved of the the course of the run, and the stories themselves are still simple and reflect the era of their publication, but you can't beat reading these at $15.

Amazing collection of Early Golden Age comics,very affordable and in full color. I only wish the Showcase volumes could be done in color as well.
Great glimpses at comics that most of us would otherwise never be able to afford normally in such pristine condition. |
