Superman: Doomsday - refreshingly original, December 11, 2007

Superman: Doomsday - O.S.T. was a bit of a surprise in that I wasn't sure that it would actually get released. Soundtracks for direct-to-video products just don't get much respect (much like computer game soundtrack albums). Robert Kral has managed to create a Superman theme that stands on its own and is worthy of Warner Animation's premiere "DC Universe" movie. If I had to point out one negative thing about this DVD, it is that the main theme can be a little repetitive; not enough, however, to keep me from recommending it to serious fans of comics film music.
