While the materials are cheap, it made it thru Halloween for my 20 month old son. If we would have played roughly with his 3 year old brother while wearing the costume, it probably would have torn the costume. But I can't complain, it made it thru Halloween and I didn't have to go looking for this costume after 3 stores ran out.
