This review is from: Superman Model Kit Revell 1999 MISB (Toy)
The problem I've always had with plastic models of human figures is the face almost always doesn't look a thing like the actual person or character. I made this reissue kit back in 1999. It is still sitting on my shelf of Superman collectables for the past 11 years. It was fun to make, the brick wall needed to be really painted in layers to make it look like brick. The face however looks more like Prince Namor than it does like Kal-El of Krypton. LOL AMT was bought out by Revell just like Monogram Models and I'm happy some of these old kits are being reissued. Building them is very relaxing and makes me feel like a 12-year-old again, carefree, relaxed, and totally focused on this miniature world.
