Stephen Ostick was presented with a challenge: providing the story about the Crash Test Dummies, a band that was still on its upwards journey through the music world. Perhaps due in part to this, the band refused to be involved with the project feeling that their careers were still too young to be examined in such detail. In spite of this setback, Ostick's book provides not just a look at the Dummies birth into the music world, but a clear picture of how the music industry works as a whole. This book is a pleasant, informative read for any fan of the Crash Test Dummies.
