This work provides up-to-date information on over 30 locations where paranormal activites have occurred, including such places as Ilkley Moor in Yorkshire - the scene of UFO encounters and alien abductions; Borley Rectory in Essex - possibly the most haunted place in Britain; Pendle in Lancashire - infamous for witchcraft; Dover Castle in Kent - home to an apparition; Glastonbury in Somerset - associated with magical powers; and Loch Ness in Scotland - home to the well-known monster. Peter Hough includes both historical and contemporary cases and includes some lesser-known phenomena that have occurred around the country. For each entry he also gives information on how to reach the place, and on events or festivals held there during the year.
