5.0 out of 5 stars Carry On Supernatural, Carry On November 11, 2013
Man this show just never gets old. Nine years and still going just as strong as when it began, even more so in my opinion. It's rare for a show to on for this long without bringing some kind of fatigue to the plot, but somehow they manage to keep it fresh. The action, the humor, the monsters, the writing, and the acting still represent some of the highest quality entertainment on television. I could really see this show becoming like Doctor Who or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a cult classic that will wind up spanning multiple generations.

Thus far season nine has picked up where season eight left off. The angels have all been locked out of heaven, Abaddon is still on the loose, Crowley is the Winchester's captive, and Castiel is (once again) merely human. So far we have a great story mash up, with some pretty cool monsters to be fought (does the Wicked Witch of the West mean anything to you?). I'll be updating this review when necessary as the season progresses to give a continued idea of what it consists of.

One final point I want to make. If you watch the show online, then please be sure to buy this DVD set. Supernatural has been around for along time, it even survived the 2007 writers guild strike that wound up killing the momentum of so many other shows (Heroes, Prison Break, Lost, etc). Supernatural has been, and continues to be, a masterpiece of entertainment. With piracy at an all time high, and with the economy the way it is, it's more important than ever to support fantastic shows like this in order to keep them going for all to enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing even comes close. January 24, 2014
By hr
I am so in love with this show. I own every episode and I have hooked my students on it. I teach high school and needed something to get them in class on time. After a few of the first episodes to get them interested it is now a reward for being on time two weeks in a row. We call it Supernatural Friday!! I have perfect attendance now. And they are now buying it. Son of a B@tch!!!

It has been amazing to watch Dean and Sam grow into men and appreciate that the writing has allowed them to mature as well, while keeping the personality quirks that we have loved from day one. "Who does this?? Crazy people!" And I am glad the writers and producers are crazy people! But its not just the strength of the Winchester but to find gold with Bobby, Castiel and Crowley?? And I want to say kudos for keeping the same actors in those roles over so many seasons. I've also loved Bella, Meg, and Ruby. Bad B@tches with Attitude for sure!

So roll on Supernatural for I will surely be in mourning when we finally have to say "goodbye boys".

5.0 out of 5 stars It just keeps getting better! November 7, 2013
I truly love this show. I have loved it ever since Season one and I have convinced a lot of people to give it a try and they love it too. Every year I think, it can't get any better, but it does. This year is no exception with Castiel back (Yeah!). The Men of Letters' bunker was a great addition and continues to hold surprises that I really enjoy. Continue the great writing and having stars like Felicia Day, it makes for the best episodes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ordered the Season October 15, 2013
By Steven
Format:Amazon Instant Video|Verified Purchase
I purchased the Season from amazon instant video because I am not able to watch the broadcast when it happens. Even though it's available to stream from Hulu and the CW website after broadcast those both have lots of ads and lower quality video audio. The 2 bucks or so per episode for higher quality audio and video without an adds and the ability to watch it whenever where ever is worth it to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars WOW, dedicated writers and actors!!! January 19, 2014

I want to (first) thank every cast member for their individual dedication and fantastic applications to this show. Great job done by all to keep it fresh and exciting. The cast is so damn talented, not just "Sam & Dean but everybody who has been in this show.
Congratulations on your 9th season...that must be some sort of record? This human side of your direction is priceless. I can't help but feel connected to stories. The little tid-bits of comedy are perfectly timed and appropriate for the particular show/episode. My wife have spent many fun filled hours watching all of the seasons. We hate commercials and cable/dish companies so, we buy every episode and pay as-we-go. Please continue to keep it fresh and new and most of all please do not stop...We appreciate this show more then you will ever know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Baby boomer likes this series. July 10, 2014
Format:Amazon Instant Video|Verified Purchase
What can I say. I am not a young fan as I am retired. I have gotten really involved with the characters, and have now finished the 9th season. I have laughed and cried. And besides that there are many layers to this show. It is about love, evil and redemption

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! October 12, 2013

I had no idea how they were going to go with Sam. This is going to be an amazing story line, giving him and Dean a new challenge! We all know what happens when the brothers keep secrets from each other, but this time I think Dean made the right call. No spoiler here. Just watch the ep and see for yourself. How this is going to play out only the writers know and that's how I like it. :D Also, watch the conversation between Sam and Death. Come on you know they're going to talk, it was in the teaser. :D I'd say something about it here, but I don't want to give anything away.
