Back in 1978 I attended a Personal Growth Seminar by Givens (this was before it was called SuperSelf) mostly because a good friend of mine told me bout Givens. I was and still am BIG into personal development. Back in those days we had the PMA RALLIES with greats like Earl Nightingale, Norman Vincent Peale, Charlie "tremendous" Jones and others. I also bought the most popular books of the time and tapes by SMI, subscribed to Success Unlimited (NOW Success Magazine) and Science of Mind. What, I asked my friend can this Givens guy teach me that I don't already know? The answer came after I attended the seminar. My friend told me that Mr Givens was a "remarkable man" and he certaintly was. He has he "unique strategies" and he definitely did. I reached goals faster than ever before. I could push myself harder with less effort than ever before. I becme more effective and to use a term that Givens used a lot I was able to "compress time"! ; to do in days what used to take me weeks or even months!A few years ago I purchased SUPERSELF AND BOUGHT THE AUDIO TAPE. It was like 1978 again. Strategies that I had forgotten were renewed and once again, I started to get results in record breaking time. Some of the topics may be familiar---Dreams, Goals and Visualization, Givens has a way of presenting his ideas that gets you to get results. Putting goals in alignment with my values and setting up an action plan as per the Givenizer made a incredible difference for me. About 20 years ago a very good friend of mine told me about Givens. Now I would like to do the same for you. I strongly recommend SUPERSELF for the ultimate in achievement and effectiveness.

I went out and bought this book after seeing Charles Givens on the Maury Povich show. This program is outstanding and is several grades above the usual positive "pump you up" motivational type books out there. You get all caught up in the motivation--then you say to yourself; "Now what I am supposed to do?"

SuperSelf provides the what. It shows you the kind of person you have to be to be a success. The theme of this book is effectiveness and who knows more about effectiveness than a man that turned $500 to a quarter of a billion.

My own personal testimony is that I now get twice as much done in half the time, actually achieve the goals that I set ( I have always been a goal setter, just never a goal getter) overcame my fear of public speaking, started a very successful business and significantly improved my relationships.

I particularly enjoyed the section on how to handle dumpers and drainers. These people always annoyed me. Prio! r to SuperSelf, I didn't know how to politely get away and more importantly be of help when possible.

SuperSelf taught me to be the cause of my life instead of the affect. I am now in control, have more energy and am more relaxed.

I believe that this is the best and the most important book that Givens has written to date. This book is about living. About joy and the feeling of aliveness. About personal achievement. About happiness and creating strong personal relationships.

I don't know if there is one book that can do it all, SUPERSELF comes darn close. Buy it, read it and apply the principles. You'll be glad you did!

The strategies on this tape really work! Before Superself (I also own the book), I found myself very efficient, busy, busy, busy but not as effectve as I would have liked to be. I now get more done in half the time. I am also more calm and relaxed during tense periods where I used to lose my cool. Superself, the tape and the book should be a part of anyones personal development library.

I listen to the tape in my car on the way to work. Givens offers excellent strategies to increase effectiveness. Before listening to this tape, I was merely efficient; buy, busy, busy but not really getting as much done as I wanted to. Now I get more done in far less time and have more free time to enjoy with my family.

SUPERSELF is a superbook, maybe the best self-development book ever! Easyto read --- it's not just motivation,it shows what kind of person you haveto be with strategies on how to achieve. Mr. Given's shows how to overcome fear, handle negativity in the workplace, push beyond fatique forpeak performance, relieve tension andworry, get twice as much done in halfthe time and more. Mr Given's writingstyle is informative and entertaining.You won't want to put this book downuntill you've read all the way throughand read again and again.

I am aware that Mr. Givens is primarily known for his outstanding money strategies and have both More Wealth Without Risk and Financial Self DeFense. SuperSelf is more like personal self defense in that it protects you from making mistakes in your personal life that can hold you back just like the financial mistakes that Mr. Givens talks about in his financial books prevent you from reaching your financial goals.

Perhaps this book is under-rated because Mr. Givens financial books are such a hard act to follow. In my opinion, this book is every more valuable than More Wealth Without Risk and Financial Self DeFense because it shows you how to become the type of person that it takes to reach succe$$.

I highly recommend SuperSelf for your personal development library along with The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren and Dr. Stephen R. Coveys classic The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

SuperSelf will give you the same type of personal success that More Wealth Without Risk and Financial Self DeFense gave us all financially.

SuperSelf does indeed bring greater success.

What exactly does SuperSelf do? It leads you to overcome blocks and fears that have been holding you back. You learn to control your thoughts and emotions and discover the power that comes with balanced emotions - the power to be "10 feet tall and bulletproof."

Everyone has deep within them an area that is without physical limitation. When you discover this unlimited you, your life becomes a fascinating journey where you find it easy to accomplish the desires of your heart with speed and ease.

Before SuperSelf, I would always be at the mercy of interuptions of one sort or another. Interuptions are the number 1 destroyer of prductivity. I took Mr. Givens advice and blocked out time for no interuptions at home and at work. I highl recommend this strategy to everyone. Take the time to train your staff to do things the way you like them done. Cosequently, you'll be more likely to delegate rather than thinking "I can do the best job myself." Apply this same strategy at home with your home based business, planning time, study time etc. Realize that the more you control your life, the higher your self esteem will be. The two are directly related. This strategy alone was well worth the price of the SuperSelf program.

I purchased this tape about 7-8 years ago. Some of the information I had a hard problem with initially...untill I used it. I doubled by productivity and then some and have more free time.I highly recommend this tape program and of course the book which is much more complete.

Before Superself, I was out of control of my life. I was a victim rather than a victor. After using the SuperSelf/Givens strategies, I've learned to recognize, deal with, and take control of the daily emotional and psychological barriers that were created by years of negative reinforcement and false programming. Hardly a day passes by that some aspect of "SUPERSELF" Training doesn't affect my life. Whether it's in the workplace, in my personal life, or even stuck in traffic, I realize that I am in control and have made the decision to be where I am, doing what I am doing, and that I have the power to change anything about my life that I choose to.

Just as the Givens Financial Strategies are the tools to change our financial lifes and achieve financial freedom, SuperSelf is the force necessary to change our emotional lives and achieve personal freedom.
