This is approximately the same size and weight of a standard 1800 watt dryer but the air flow is significantly more forceful. I can't tell if it gets hotter than a standard dryer but I think my shoulder length hair dries in about half the time. It has a very long cord and is more quiet than any other blow dryer I've ever used. I've bought several other "salon quality" hair appliances and have found this dryer to be the only one worth the extra money.

Very Powerful - the dryer blasts air but it doesn't get too hot, so it dries the hair without damaging it. There is a slower, hotter setting and two different nozzles for targeted styling. It's also lightweight and easy to manage.

I didn't really know how to use this hair dryer until I read an article in "Real Simple" magazine on how to blow dry your hair. I followed the instructions and I can say that with this hair dryer I can now dry and style my ordinary, shoulder length, medium thick, fine hair in 5 to 7 minutes. It's great! Technique to use: blow dry hair 80% dry with no brushes, section hair and finish drying with round brush to smooth and style. You are done! A little spray and out the door.

I purchased a Super Solano 3500 Lite a couple of months ago and it has been all I expected and more. The service from Valley Enterprises was excellent, it didn't come with the nozzles and they contacted Solano and a few days later I received the nozzles and extra filters. I've had a Solano hairdryer before and have been very satisfied, it lasted more than 10 years! I highly recommend this product

Great hair dryer. It is lightweight, simple to use, and I love the long cord. My only complaint would be that it needs a 'medium' setting for blowing air. Low is too low and high it too high (puts my hair in knots) - a medium setting would be perfect. It does seem to dry my hair a little quicker than a regular dryer but not 30-40%. I would still highly recommend it, and never go back to using a $19 Conair ever again. :)

This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. Prior to purchasing it I was skeptical; could an expensive hair dryer really be that much better than a $40 or $50 model? The answer is yes. I have medium length, thick hair with a slight wave that I blow straight every day. This hair dry reduced my drying time by approximately 10 minutes and leaves my hair soft, smooth and static free and is super light. I will definitely purchase this hair dryer again.

I have extremely thick, long and frizzy hair that is too much for a 'regular' dryer to handle. This dryer not only cut my drying time by half, but also left my hair feeling soft and shiny. I love the multiple temperature and heat settings available. Not to forget--it really is light weight. With so many professional brand on the market, I was skeptical as to whether this would be any better than my $40 dryer. This was defiantly worth the investment.

I used the CHI Rocket before I bought the Salano hair dryer. I really like this hair dryer, but the Chi Rocket has a hotter heat which dries my hair a little faster. Still I would recommend this to anyone who dries their hair on a daily basis.

This is the very best hairdryer I have ever had. I researched (via Amazon) many many hairdryers and debated about spending so much money for a hairdryer. After reading the reviews I did purchase the Supersolano 3500 Lite . I can't say enough good things about this hairdryer. It is light and the perfect combination of med/high and cool to hot. Some had said the buttons were in the way but that does't seem to be a problem. I cant believe how it REALLY makes a difference in my hair. No more "fly aways". My hair is very fine and this dryer really works well for my hair type. I won't even take my travel hair dryer anymore....I won't use any other hairdryer EVER. It is the best. Definitely worth the money!

I bought this for my wife, she loves it, much more powerful yet quieter than her old one. Expensive but worth it for something she uses every day...
