I recently bought this item after reading others review. I have long, puffy (not curly hair), medium volume of hair. I would say that his dryer really works for my hair and well worth it, it takes me 10 mins to dry my hair as suppose to 15-30 on my old hair dryer. No frizzyness and dry damage hair. Very light weight and not much noise.

However, In my opinion, if you have really, really curly hair and thick hair, this might not be the right one for you. I think it depends on your hair.

For those who have puffy hair, long and medium volume hair like mine, I would defenitely recommend it.

I love this product. I have been using a Solano hair dryer for over 25 years. They are very reliable. I have a lot of hair so, this dryer helps to dry my hair quickly.

I know have arthritis in my hands now. My only complaint was I thought the mcor would be lighter or a little better balanced.

Basically I thought I was buying the "Ferarri" of all dryers, but sadly not so. I really wish I just replaced my broken (the cord disconnected) Rusk Speedfreak hairdryer with a second. Hands down that is the quickest and smoothest dry you'll get if you have naturally curly, thick hair like myself. Everyday I sit there miserable as I'm drying my hair when I know I could of been done 15-20 minutes sooner and it also would of felt smoother & thinner with my old Rusk. The highest setting for heat isn't hot enough either. Sorry if this disappoints you reading this, but when I know first hand there is a way better dryer out there, I can't endorse this one, I can only wish that I could get all my money back and start over.

I had purchased two other hairdryers in the last six months, and all ran very hot and I smelled burning hair every time I dried my hair. My hairdresser recommended this iron and I thought no way am I going to spend over $100 on a hair dryer. After burning my hair to the point that it starting breaking off, I broke down and bought this dryer. It dries my very thick hair in half the time and I have yet to have that burnt hair smell. If it lasts as long as other reviewers have written, then it will be worth every penny.

Bought this for my wife as she wanted a good quality hair dryer for her hair. She loves it.

I have a Solano that I bought more than 20 years ago. It has been dropped and accidentally stepped on and has kept on running. Finally the switch was getting a little flakey so I got this 3600 Ion to replace it. This is a high end, super heavy duty hairdryer that is built in Italy - not in China like many dryers at lower price points - and is intended to stand up to all-day-long use in hair salons. It's not one of those feather-weight dryers and though it's not exceptionally heavy, it has a certain heft and solid feel about it that suggests that it's built to last. It also contains some of the latest technology which will dry hair faster with less hair-damaging heat. I don't have very long hair, so it drys my hair in an instant. It would be an excellent choice for those who have a lot of hair that can take a long time to dry with a conventional hair dryer.

My husband always buys me the best! He did another great job picking out this hairdryer. Love the super long cord, multiple settings and easy grip handle. Dryer is a little on the heavy side but makes up for it with a quick dry thanks to super wattage. Love it

I have shoulder length hair. I can't tell you what a difference this makes compared to typical retail dryers in the under-30 range.

It dries faster. It leaves my hair smoother and softer. The ceramic heat is different from the electric coils in most driers. I thought the tourmaline-Ion feature was hype;now I don't. It works.

Well balanced and easy to hold, it is less fatiguing to use. The extra long cord is industrial tough and makes it a pleasure to use no matter which way I turn.

Though not silent, it is less than half as loud as the driers it has replaced and has none of the high-pitched shrieking sounds so common with cheap models.

This is a very good hair dryer. I have long hair and Supersplano works fast and leaves my hair very shiny. The only thing I dislike are the setting speed buttons as they're at the same place I hold the handle and I have to be very careful not to set them off accidentally.

I love this blow drier, I had the older version and it was pretty good and love this new version with the ionic technology.
