My husband bought this as a Christmas gift for me (ok..so I may have emailed him the exact link but that's besides the point) and I am very, very pleased with how it performs. I always looked at drying my hair as a tedious chore but now I almost look forward to that part of my day, given the fact that my hair ends up looking so nice by the time I am through wielding this little baby.

PROS:

HEAT-
This sucker gets hot! It has multiple temperature settings but I usually leave it on the hottest setting. The fact that it can get so hot helps cut down the drying time significantly and it adds a nice shine to your hair (just be careful not to hold it in one spot for too long...ouch!). There is also a cold-air button that instantly blows out cold air (admittedly, a feature that most dryers have..but this is an instant temperature change and the air is COLD).

POWER-
This dyer is extremely powerful..noticeably more so than any dryer I've ever owned. I couldn't believe how quickly it dried my hair the first time I tried it out.

QUIETER THAN MOST DRYERS-
One thing I noticed right away is how quiet the dryer is. In fact, I didn't think I had it on the highest setting because I was so used to my last dyer being a roaring machine. Turned out, it really is that quiet!

ATTACHMENTS-
Both attachments are really nice..particularly the gold nozzle attachment. It concentrates the air stream and really helps to smooth any frizzies you may have. Note..this attachment gets extremely hot so do NOT touch it with your bare hands right after use. The other attachment is a similar concentrator nozzle but it's black plastic and does not get quite as hot.

CONS:

PRICE-
This dryer is decidedly pricey..although I think if you search around, you can find it for less than $75 and I think it's worth it.

WEIGHT-
The fact that this dryer is powerful and well constructed also means that it is pretty heavy. But I have severe back problems and this dryer isn't so heavy that it's uncomfortable for me to use.

Love the product...but *Caution* When I received the product from Amazon, it was the wrong (and cheaper) model dryer in the right packaging. I eventually received the correct model but thought it was rather deceptive of Amazon to do this switch.

Having thrown away many expensive junky blowdryers, The Supersolano is a keeper! Back by a warranty that's says alot about the company. Also, Made in Italy which is a big deal now a day since all the cheap crap is coming in from China.
It has a long extended cord to move around from one room to the next, along with a durable feel of the blowdryer.

I was initially concerned about paying too much for a hair dryer. It was the right decision, I love this hair dryer. I like it so much I have bought two. I am able to dry my hair quicker and it is much smoother than ever before, and has volume.

I'm obsessed with blow dryers and this one is awesome. It's the best professional dryer on the market. It dries my hair straight without drying it out, in minutes. Just awesome.

A great product for anyone who uses a hairdryer for consistent and extended periods of time. Also, wonderful for people who have hair that is difficult to straighten. The motor is more powerful than the average over the counter hairdryer and the air is much hotter than the average hair dryer. Due to it's power and air temp, this product makes hair drying and styling much quicker and easier than using a typical hairdryer. A bit pricey, but totally worth it!

I purchased this as a gift for my girlfrined. She love it. It has tons of power and is much quieter than any of the cheap ones you get at the drug store, but it doesn't get very hot.

I was exposed to the Super Solano 3 years ago when staying at my cousin's house.
She has long hair and it justifies buying this expensive, salon quality hair dryer.
I have 1/2 inch long hair on the sides and no more than an inch and a half on top.

I take good care of my appliances/electronics and so I thought, 'why not?'
I did abstain from purchasing this unit for over 3 years, but as my last dryer crapped out, I took this opportunity to buy the SS.

Yes, it's heavy for a hair dryer, but the airflow from this unit makes it worth it.
The low setting could be a little lower, but I'm sure they designed this with long haired people in mind.

Hi All: I purchased this blow dryer last week and besides getting it really fast, I was delighted to find it works beautifully. I like the way another poster said this is the real thing and not a toy like the other dryers, which I won't mention any names, don't want to be sour grapes :) But, really, I love it. Although it is not a feather weight, it's well balanced in your hand. It not only does a great job, but my hair dries so much faster. It also is soooo smooth. It actually is quite like what all the other posters said it would be. I never tried a "salon" type dryer before, but I always want to have that "just left the salon" feel. That bouncy, shiny, squeaky clean feel and this dryer does that for me. I honestly noticed a big difference between this dryer and the other, uh, a ehem, toys I've used in the past.
