I was pleasantly surprised at this wonderful gem of a book. It takes each of the sun signs and gives brief biographies of 'heroes and celebrities', which illustrate what the sun sign means, not in theory, but as a practical expression in life. It also involves the reader with a 'how to become a superstar' section, karmic tests and a meditation relating to each sign. Fortunately Chrissie has not made this book a tired rerun of our celebrity culture, but has mixed some current 'celebrities' with those heroes of the ages, who have done much to help others. It is simply a refreshing and inspiring book which has taught me much about the practical expressions of our sun signs and what we can do with the energy and possibilities that they provide. Well done!

I recently received this book as a gift. Having an interest in astrology but never finding the time to read about it, I am glad I did make time. It was a great read. Interesting without being over my head! This may make a good gift for someone on your shopping list.

This is a fantastic book, particularly if one has never picked up an astrology book before. This book is different from other astrology books in that it includes the qualities of the sun sign that many readers are familiar with, but each chapter also adds real-life people who have that particular sun sign and how they manifested those qualities in their lives. Chrissie took special care to select the people she found most inspirational and fascinating, rather than just reading the most well-known celebrities of today. She's researched people such as Paracelsus and Galileo to Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates.

Chrissie also includes karmic lessons for each sun sign to learn, as well as a thoughtful meditation to consider for self-reflection.

One quality this book really emphasizes, thematically, is service. While astrology in present day has sometimes become about trying to predict the weather of the day, so to speak, it is actually an old divinatory practice with spiritual roots. Astrology, at its best, can be used to help individuals gain greater insight into the lessons they are meant to learn and how to grow and reach their full potential as human beings. The examples of the superstars Chrissie has selected are designed to help inspire present-day readers to consider how they might reach their own full potential. The meditation is also designed to facilitate the same. The greatest lesson we can all learn is how we can be of greater service to humanity through the innate talents and tendencies that we have. In doing so, not only will we learn our greatest lessons, but we also gain greater wisdom through our contributions.

I was more than pleasantly surprised as I read through this book.
I actually couldnt put it down! As a Gemini,that's saying a lot! The "Super Stars" were perfectly chosen,I learned so much & about people I had never even heard of (in some cases) with such fascinating stories about how they lived their lives and their struggles and accomplishments with the traits of their individual signs.
In a very entertaining and easy to follow format.
The Karmic tests at the end of each sign were eye-opening,and the meditations VERY helpful!
I highly recommend this book whether you are new to astrology and your particular signs traits or you "think" you know all you need to know.
I can assure you are going to learn more and it will be helpful to you
in ALL areas of your life!

I was lucky enough to receive this book as a birthday present. It's truly a gem...it's written in such a simple to understand manner yet is so full of insight. It's very uplifting to read and learn more about those who've provided many of us with inspirations. This book has also helped me to learn significantly more about myself. NOW, I do truly feel equipped to start on my own journey to be a superstar, knowing and believing that I will be one in my own ways...and perhaps stand a chance to be of inspiration to others who come after me! What are you waiting for? Read for yourself and start be(com)ing a superstar!!!

At last, a book that a non-astrologer like me can easily understand, and more importantly, use as a practical tool in the betterment of my day-to-day relationships with others.

To your credit, even more unique is the message of service that it seems you were inspired to put forth in this work. In my humble opinion, this combination of keen subject knowledge, personal insight and communication ability have taken astrology to a much higher level, which will be of great benefit to all.

The difference between Chrissie Blaze's books on astrology and all the others is heart. There's a humanistic theme here that one just doesn't find in other astrology books. This one tells us much about our own history, and the profiles of celebs here are as helpful as any self-help book you'll find. Check out her other books--they are all wonderful!

I found this book to be well written and full of insights into the lives of interesting and often famous people I enjoyed knowing more about... It also gave me greater knowledge about who I am astrologically speaking....
