"women turn to women when man turns to ape", September 28, 2004
This review is from: Superstarlet A.D. (DVD)
wow, I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet. Well, if you've ever heard of SSAD, it probably has something to do with Troma. That's how I first heard about it. I bought it on a whim after seeing the trailer. I was amazed! It's one of the most inovative and edgey films I've ever seen! Combine Hedwig and the Angry Inch, faster pussycat kill! kill!, natural born killers and Strip-o-rama and you've got Superstarlet A.D. ...
the setting is post-apocalypse. All men are dead, except for a few devolved cave men. All women are beautiful nudie cuties who prance around in sexy under garments and carry machine guns. They're separated into Beauty Cults which are based on hair color. The Tempests: redheads, the Phayrays: blondes, the Satanas: brunettes ...and then there are the Superstarlets. They alone believe all hair colors are created equally!
See what happens in this epic tale of feminine brutality!

OMG!!!, February 1, 2011
Lovely ladies wearing tight leather, sexy lingerie, and less.... Lots of topless scenes, some girl/girl kissing and heavy petting... I cant tell you about the plot because I was too busy watching all the lingerie on the screen!!!
Some great burlesque style dancing that ends topless... WOW!!! Its a great skin flick!!

Should be a cult classic!, October 5, 2009
What a surprisingly fun movie, this is a troma production which means cheesy and somewhat aimless. However the post apocalyptic Beauty cults based on hair color, leave the screen full of half dressed burlesque style women. The women dressed in 50's style garments and garters with foot long lashes and beehive hairdo's remind me of a sexier version of a John Waters film. The women have natural (and very attractive) bodies which is a very refreshing change, they are lovely and lewd. Tasteless good fun. Should be a cult classic!
