This review is from: Supersymmetry and Equivariant de Rham Theory (Hardcover)
This book is inspired by Cartan's two seminal papers about the topological implications of Lie groups acting on manifolds. In fact, the two papers are reprinted in the back of the book.

There is not much new mathematics needed to extract the category of G^* algebras and to develop their equivariant cohomology. This abstraction has fascinating implications.

There are chapters treating special topics in detail, such as spectral sequences and fermionic integration. Throughout the book is well-written and clear.

Any person interested in equivariant cohomology or symplectic geometry should read this book!
