This review is from: Supervision in the Helping Professions: Individual, Group and Organizational Approach (Paperback)
As a full time counsellor with responsibility for supervising volunteer counsellors I find this book very helpful in forming structure for the supervision sessions. It presents a good Process Model of Counselling Supervision based on the three main aspects of supervision - educational, supportive and client centred. I have found it a very good reference for the work I do with counselling supervisees and I have learned much more about the processes involved in both counselling and in supervision. I recommend this book to anyone who is starting to deliver supervision to counsellors or other people in the helping professions and does not know where to begin.
