I had to have this book for my class. I like the layout and how easy it is to read. I like that you can look up definitions. Would be nice if someone figured out that putting the page number with the definition would be helpful without having to look that up separately. Other than that a good book.

This book contains much high quality information on Supervision and management, in easy-to-understand language with good cases for illustration of concepts.

I purchased both the 10E and 11E release. The main differences is one of the contributing author passed away. Additionally, the data has been brought up to date in the 11E version. What the 10E version has that the 11E doesn't is a chapter that discusses Union Labor. It was very helpful for the class that I was attending.

The principles and examples are straight forward. Having completed several supervisory courses in previous jobs, the information is presented in a structured and organized format. The end of chapter key terms and discussions are helpful in acquiring a working knowledge of supervisor responsibilities.

Needed this book for class. It was easy to follow and understand. Would definitly recommend!

okay book, bought because I had a class on it. could be a little more updated.

I was skeptical at first that I would be able to receive the book I ordered. I received the book in about 8-10 days and it was in the condition that was stated. This would be the only way I would order a book from now on. I am ordering another book for my son through Amazon as we speak. I was referred to use Amazon and I will continue to refer to other people.

The books great and in excellant condition. I got it just in time for class and paid less than everyone else in class. The side definitions are the best as well as the chapter end cases and summaries. The CD is another great bonus!
