Initially I bought Winch-in-a-bag for my Elk hunt to Colorado. After recieving it this past Saturday I wondered how I could try it out. Well today my better half ran the riding mower in the creek beside the property. Using it just as the instructions state it pulled the tractor out no problem. With this being the first winch I ever used the only thing I didn't like was how the cable doesn't wind evenly.

I used this product in the process of cutting down 16 trees to help guide the tree in the proper direction. It functioned in this application. However, the cable tends to track into the sharp edge of the Hause or cable lead hole. This action quickly wears the TPO block and results in cable damage against the sharp edge of the metal hause. The TPO block is not available as a service part. Additionally, on my unit, the "spring steel cable tensioner" proved defective. It cracked apart and was also scraping on the cable. Based on the tracking design issue, I would not recommend this winch for anything more than a once or twice in a lifetime use in a pinch. I am guessing the tensioner issue was a quality defect.

Good for small jobs but lacks power. I bought it to use on a 63 foot Rohn fold over radio tower but it had insufficient power to raise it.

One time use and it was returned, broken switch, on the controller. The connector broke on the motor.
The bag that holds it is way to small.

Disapointed in this product. Battery clamps are of extremely poor quality. Started breaking down immediately. Winch is not a strong as it's purported to be. I don't recommend this product.

Done a great job snaking small tree trunks uphill behind my house, strong pulling for the size rating.
