Other standard features include power in and out, freespooling drum, instant stop with absolutely no coasting, mechanical and dynamic braking, and roller fairlead. And the fully weather resistant protective cover helps keep the weather out. The freespool clutch, designed for fast wire rope payout, is operated by a pull-and-turn knob which disengages the gearbox to allow the wire rope to be pulled out without using electric power.

This winch rocks. I bought it to use on a flat deck car trailer for a race car. It has plenty of power and the best thing is the 30' long wired remote. The Warn 3700 winch I almost bought instead had a much shorter remote control cable. With the Superwinch's 30' remote control, I can stand next to the car and steer it while winching it onto the trailer rather than having to put down the remote and walk back to the car and adjust the steering wheel and then walk back to use the remote.

We purchased this to install in our car trailer. It effortlessly pulls our 71 El Camino race car in the trailer. The El Camino weighs about 3800 pounds and it pulls it very well.

The winch is doing it's job but not sure for how long. Have already replaced 2 cables as they corrode right away. Would like to have a level wind as cable binds up in spool. With load on unable to guide cable. After install first unit defective but company took care and replaced unit. Don't think unit can pull it's weight unless on flat ground with overinflated tires.

I am using to pull 300lbs vertical so not sure how long will last. Lots of corrosion on spool and rollers. Unit kept covered and used in Southern CA.
