"Suplex" is the epitomy of heavy metal destruction.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Suplex (Audio CD)
This album is the equivelent of a drunk pirate driving a garbage truck down your throat and peeling out on your intestines. It is the heaviest music there is right now. Best of all, they have no corny-ass image like Korn or Rage Against the Machine. It's all about the music. Listen to the beginning of "Connect 5" and tell me that isn't the Heaviest bass sound you've ever heard. This album makes me want to break things......ALOT.

Ultra-Low Bionic Heavy Metal Thunder,
By Thee Inspector (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews

KARP will rip off your head with their newly implanted Bionic-Arms. They are masters of low-frequency mind-melding techniques. From Charles Bronson to King Solomons' reef to Lakefair, they cover it all in this ultra-low portrait of life in small town Olympia. Get ready to RUMBLE!!!

NOT FOR THE WEAK,
This review is from: Suplex (Audio CD)
I first heard Shotzie on University of Washington's public radio station. It was the sound of glorious self-destruction.
Karp to me: Skinny little guys shouting with everything they've got. These guys have more guts in their little fingers than most people have in their entire bodies. They build the heaviest, most powerful sound and bounce it off every wall in the room. They bash their brains out for your pleasure and invite you to join them. They are (and were) good men. |
