4.0 out of 5 stars An EMT & CPR Instructors View, April 6, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) (Paperback)
This book sums up all the skills and knowledge needed in order to perform and recognize the need for CPR by the layperson in the field. CPR is most effective when initiated within 4-6 minutes of a persons collapse and it is imperative that people know how to perform CPR until higher medical training becomes available. This book teaches and explains the roles of the person initiating basic life support (CPR).
