My sister gave me this handy gadget for quickly and easily juicing lemons as a birthday gift. It seemed strange at first, but after I used it the first time, I declared it the greatest invention since the mandoline v-slicer for vegatables! It's so simple - you just cut the lemon in half and squeeze. In seconds, you have a whole cup of juice sans seeds and pulp. I've just learned that it comes in lime and orange sizes as well... I might just have to order that orange juicer for my morning squeeze.

It gets all the juice. You can squeeze until your hand hurts and still get juice. It saves me lemons because it takes fewer lemons to get that quarter cup of fresh lemon juice.

We have bought several different styles of hand juicers over the years.

This item had the style that we liked but was sturdy! The previous one was made of plastic and everytime we used it -it felt like it would break in our hand. This item is made of heavy metal so it can take the "big sqeeze".

This item is highly recommended for those cooks that use fresh squeezed juice.

I am glad that I bought it at Amazon. The transaction was great!

I'm so glad I read all the reviews for the different squeezers. Getting one the right size for the fruit you are squeezing is very important. I work as a manager in a French Restaurant and they have one of these squeezers. I drink Lemon water every day at least once and this squeezer makes it sooo easy. I don't have to get my hands wet, I don't have to mess with the seeds and, the amount of juice that comes out is AMAZING!!! A must have for every kitchen that uses lemons!

The lemon squeezer works well, just as other reviewers described.
However, after eight months the enamel is lifting around the drain holes and the metal is exposed making it unusable. It has been rinsed immediately after each use and washed in the dishwasher. I have no idea if it would hold up better if hand-washed, but I would not risk another $19 (incl. shipping) to find out.

It's a strong product, gets almost all of the lemon juice out of the lemon quickly, never lets seeds get through, requires relatively little pressure to use because of leverage, can be washed easily, never burns your hands with a bunch of lemon juice, and it is LEMON-YELLOW! What more could one ask for? The only thing that makes sense, but is unintuitive, is you put the lemon facing down (towards the holds at the bottom) instead of how it seems to fit naturally (lemon side facing you). Once you realize that it turns the lemon inside out and the juice-friendly side needs to be facing the holes, you're good to go. Makes me feel silly for squeezing lemons! It may be cheaper at local stores, so I'd check those out first. However, as always, I had a great Amazon purchasing experience.

I wouldn't have thought that a good lemon juicer would be a difficult thing to find, but I was wrong. I originally bought this lemon juicer from a health food store for about $25. Worked great while I used it everyday for a lemonade diet. I decided to do the lemonade diet again 6 months later and found that I had misplaced the lemon press. So off to buy a new one, I discovered that I had to go to several stores just to find one that was way too small and didn't juice well. So back to the stores to find another one that broke within 3 days of use. So my quest to find my original brought me to Amazon where (yea!) I find it less than 1/2 the price.

If you can find a better manual squeezer than this (and I doubt such a thing exists), buy it. Solid, strong, heavy, real. And I suspect it will last forever.

I use this lemon squeezer to squeeze lemon into my iced tea and it works great. It is nice and strong and squeezes lemons well, keeping out the pulp and seeds. Nice product.

Seems OK. Nice color to help find the unit very quickly. Simplicity at its best and this time working in your favor. I bought a big monstrosity made in South America that does citrus. This monstrosity will bring your piano playing days to an end in seconds if the top comes falling down on your fingers. That goes for guitar playing too. This little yellow squeezer is harmless by comparison and does a very nice job of getting to all, I say all, the juice a lemon has to offer. In that respect it should pay for it self in short order.
