It works, very stable, nice weight and even though it's recommended not to be used in a dish washer, I've been washing it in the dish washer for months and the shine is still good as the day I bought it. Definitely better than plastic or other lighter material.

This is an incredibly heavy beautifully built chrome egg cup -- probably stainless steel. It is surely the best that there is anywhere. The only problem is that their picture shows two of them, but the price and ordering quantity is only one, and no where in their description does it show that you get only one when you order. Because of this I had to order twice, and pay an inflated shipping charge twice to get the quantity I wanted. But I am delighted with the product itself.
