This is exactly as described, but I was afraid it might look cheap because it's plastic instead of glass. No worries, it looks fabulous! Perfect for our RV! Highly recommend this versatile piece to fellow RVers and everyone who needs a durable cake dome, but doesn't want to worry about glass breakage.

Great product! Allows a beautiful cake showing & lid is secure for transporting. I will order another one in the future. I'd recommend this product & give it an A+++.

This serving dish is lightweight, tough, a great kitchen space saver, and looks great. I have used it to bring prepared dishes to gatherings at other people's houses and it always looks nice on the table. The fact that the lid can be used on the dip plate is especially useful when I am transporting dishes. The dish also feels sturdy enough that it is obvious that the dish is not disposable during cleanup so that it does not accidentally get thrown out (which I have had happen to me before with other serving platters). It has also survived multiple washes in the dishwasher (without heated dry) without scratching or warping.

I also use it at home for pretty much everything. One of my favorite uses is to prepare snacks ahead of time for long-distance visitors who are due to arrive soon after I get home from work. The dish fits easily into the fridge and the lid keeps the items on the plate fresh so when I put the snack out it looks like I just prepared it.

I have very minimal kitchen storage space so the 4 in 1 capabilities of this serving platter make this an essential serving piece for me.

I am very disapointed. No where in the description did it say this was plastic. I guess its my fault because I "assumed" it was GLASS. Very frustrating because I had ordered it as a Christmas gift for someone and it came on Dec. 23rd so there was no time to return it and get the right one. I had to go buy one somewhere else the day before.
