Bruno Pelletier is one of the best male vocalists and this live in concert CD will prove it. If you think Andrea Bocelli is good, you should check out Bruno's version of Vivo Per Lei. This CD would be the best one to get if you like a singer with a crystal clear and powerful voice. In addition, all of the songs on this CD are great. You will not be disappointed.

I fell in love with Bruno Pelletier's voice in Notre Dame de Paris. In looking for other recordings of his, I found his recent Sur Scene. It is wonderful!!! His voice is magnetic and mesmerizing.His personality shines throughout this work. I can enfold myself in his rich voice for hours. Also worthwhile is his earlier work D'autres Rives.

I don't know how I stumbled onto Bruno, probably thru Gino Vannelli links, but I bought this CD because I wanted to hear Bruno's take on "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel and Gino's "Brother to Brother." (There isn't much difference between Gino and Bruno on that song, by the way--GREAT version.) I ended up LOVING "S'en Aller" which is a FABULOUS take on an old Led Zepplin song called "Kashmir." THIS GUY CAN SING! I have no idea what he is saying, because it's in French, but it does not matter! All of these songs are sung to perfection, the melodies are memorable and full of feeling, and the vocal range is as good as Gino Vannelli's and sometimes I think maybe better. The voice is awesome. This live recording is crystal clear for a live performance. I can't stop listening to these 2 CDs and I highly recommend this to anyone who is a Gino Vannelli lover.

Bruno Pelletier is a masterful singer from Canada who is the heir apparent to Gino Vannelli. His strong clear voice and muscular vibrato set him apart from most male vocalists today. Sur Scene is a fantastic live album, though most of it is in French. This is but a minor drawback for those who don't speak the language. The performances on all the songs are soulful and dead on in pitch and control. His rendition of Peter Garbriel's, "In Your Eyes" has a new twist and is, again, outstanding in vocal delivery. If you like Gino or just like to listen to a singer who has honed his craft to near perfection, check out Bruno Pelletier.

Try his Concert de Noel - classical and Christmas songs. The voice is unbelievable. Miserere - you have to hear that to appreciate. Ave Maria - the best I've ever heard. One of the best singers today, very versatile. And great personality too. I'm waiting for the news disks, Bruno.

Don't let your lack of understanding French stop you from buying and enjoying this CD. Bruno is one of the most talented singers around. It is a shame that his music is not more appreciated in the States. This album has something for everyone, from ballads to rock, and he performs each song with warmth and excellence. His rendition of the beautiful love song "La Manic" is amazing.
