Was excited when I saw this and even more when I ordered it, but was a little disappointed when I finally got it. I thought it was really cordless, like runs on batteries cordless, but it's not. The stand plugs into a cord and the gun then sits and plugs into the stand to heat up and then you take it out of stand to use and then you have to plug it back into the stand to keep it heated up. I bought this because I do alot of crafts that require hot glue and I live in overseas military housing that does not have 110 volt plugs to plug my glue gun in and thought a cordless one would work better for me. It is still nice gun, but not what I thought it was.
