I've had this flashlight for about 6 months, and the central (and bright) white light has stopped working. I disassembled it and found a large amount of corrosion built up on the contacts for the white light - no idea where it came from as this flashlight has not been exposed to water. One other member of my unit reported the same problem with his. It could be a design flaw, be warned.

While this light is expensive, I believe it is one of the best out there. I had mine around my neck, via included lanyard (take off the plastic ring and put lanyard directly on light to ensure you do not lose A2), during the long weekend N.E. blackout of 2008. It was invaluable to have and the red LED saves battery to maximize use. The design enables the light to be on continuous color or white light by turning the front end and rear, or keep it 'off' for one handed thumb use. Although I used a Mini Mag for deployment to Iraq, I wish I had this light on my web gear.

purchased this while on deployment. its extremely bright, you can feel the heat off of the xenon light. the led's supply enough light to light a decent area but not quite focused enough. the xenon supplies a flood light type light. can easily blind someone in darkness.
