incandescent light gives you a realistic colors when you use it at night vs led , easy to hold in ur hand..

The Surefire G2 Combat Flashlight is the best flashlight I have ever owned. It is compact, corrosion proof & easily carried in your pocket. I added a Cree Q5 275 Lumen LED bulb to mine & it is 10 times brighter than my 3D Cell Maglite Flashlight plus the LED doesn't burn out & uses alot less battery power. The Surefire G2 Combat is powered by 2 CR123 batteries but don't be discouraged. You can purchase CR123 batteries from CR123batteries.com for less than a dollar a battery. The light is a little expensive but worth it. If you don't need the Surefire G2 Combat for shooting, you can purchase the Surefire G2 which does not have the cut out space for shooting for about $20.00 less & it's basically the same flashlight without the cutout.

I am a Ranger and have used this light many times. My son just became a police officer so I purchased one for him as well as the holder. It goes on your gun belt and it one of the most handy "tools of the trade" I use. It is always with me and I am never without a light when I need one.

I bought this for use with handguns and hiking. I had a metal version of this flashlight and noticed that it would get very cold when worn outside. The nitrolon version does not get cold and therefore doesn't tranfer that to the users hand or the batteries. Takes the IR and colored lense covers, and is very bright. This lights up the woods and like all Surefire products, works. I also bought the plastic holster and find myself just placing this in a pouch or pocket. The lanyard is an excellent addition and keeps the light on your wrist. Great light and highly recommended. Buy this if you can only afford one or two tactical lights.
