The bass on this record is silky smoooth like a hot bucket of crispy. The beats are cool and the guitar melts like butter dripping off a hot bisquit. The vocals are funky fresh with no jive.

Every song on this CD is impressive. All of the colorful sounds from all of the instruments dazzled me while the grooves kept my head-a-bobbin. I hope to see them in concert. I imagine that they put on a spectacular show.

Yo this cd sound good. My favorite song is "It's Understood." I was in Amsterdam and I heard this song on the radio and I was like these brothers got it going on youknowhatimsaying! It's got that new sound and the lyrics are kicking k-knowledge.

This is a great band. All the elements are here on this first album. The progressive songwriting takes me back to 2112. The flowing, mystic beats, 80's guitar, and the inspirational lyrics. This cd covers a wide spectrum of musical sounds.

A must have for anyone who likes funky sounds!, January 9, 1999

I'm grateful that I live in the same city as this band. I get to see them live -- and what a treat that is! The album makes a great base for their live performances. A friend bought me the album after seeing them, feeling that I would enjoy it. It was one of the best gifts I ever got! I went and saw them live and couldn't believe how good they sounded. Most bands fall victim to the fine-tuning that studios allow so that they don't even sound remotely the same onstage. Not so with this group. They're taking the slogan "keepin' it real" to a whole new level.
