About the band, we’ve created a surf-instrumental-soundtrack band and a collage of surf, beach party, spy movie, car crash, western, sitcom, kitsch, and clay-mation clips to project live on stage behind the band to form "Surf Cinema". It’s a slight twist from traditional surf and a bit more visually entertaining.

Fantastic CD! I strongly recommend it to fans of Laika and The Cosmonauts and Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet. Wonderful, toe tapping reverb drenched instros. I especially like "Zippy to the Rescue ", "Unbundled" and "Bullfight in April". Be sure to visit thier website Surfcinema.net - they also have a live CD that is MOST outstanding!

Where to begin... Summer of 2003 listening to a lot of new surf music and discovering all of the great albums out there. Then I buy this album... I'm lucky it didn't turn me off of music. It sounds like it was recorded in a tin can, the playing is sloppy and very loose, and the songwriting lacks anything resembling imagination or emotion. Definitely a disc to skip. This is the only review I've ever written on Amazon and certain the only bad review I've ever written on the internet. Skip or you will hate yourself.
